Cairn Terrier
The Cairn Terrier is a lively little terrier originally bred on Skye. It was named after the piles of stones left to mark ancient burial sites on Skye.
It is a loyal and affectionate dog but can be quite pugnacious. However it is not aggressive and does not always require a great deal of exercise, which can make it an enchanting pet.
The Cairn Terrier stands at around 23-30 cm high, and weighs approximately 5-7 kg. It has a rough coat, with a rather shaggy appearance although the fur is soft and can be red, sandy, silver and black or brindle.
What Eddie likes about the Cairn terrier - These are lovely little dogs. Although they are terriers they are not really hunters and just like playing, like me.
What Eddie dislikes about the Cairn terrier - There’s not really anything I dislike about them.
