Airedale Terrier
The Airedale Terrier originates from Yorkshire and was bred to use in badger and otter hunts. It is always active and can run very fast. It is still used in some parts of Europe to hunt wild boar and deer. However it can also make a great pet and affectionate family member but does need regular walking of a few miles daily.
The Airedale Terrier is around 55-61 cm tall, with a weight of around 20 kg. The coat is wiry and lies flat, but is thick. The body colour is either black or grey, with the head, tail and paws being reddish brown or tan.
What Eddie likes about the Airedale Terrier - I had an Airedale friend, Pimms, but she died recently. Pimms was a lovely old lady and we used to sit together and talk for ages. She was very friendly and loving.
What Eddie dislikes about the Airedale Terrier - there was nothing I disliked about Pimms, but she told me that some Airedales are not so friendly with little dogs.
